stage 1   stage 2

All of Dave's work is hand thrown on the potters wheel. It is then left to dry out until it is leather hard.

Pots are then turned (tidied up on the wheel) and put in the kiln. The work is bisqued fired up to 1000 °C

  stage 3   stage 4

The work is now glazed in Dave's hand made unique glazes. They have taken years to perfect.

Another firing up to 1260 °C. The high firing shrinks the pots but makes them very durable.

The entire process takes up to two weeks. This is why the prices are more than your average mass produced piece. The pots are totally hand made!
