In December 2001 Dave bought an abandoned Pub in St Werburghs, Bristol. The ground floor is now running as a fully functioning Artist's Studios Complex.All studios have been custom built, have plenty of light, electricity, and are fully lockable.

There are 6 studios in the main building, including Dave's own pottery, as well as a sculptor in the garage outside. The units have been let to local artists varying from paper makers and painters to violin makers. This is now Dave's permanent workplace. The building has also been fully renovated and the exterior restored to it's former glory.
